Collection Accounts are used by clients who have customers wanting to pay them in their local currency.
So for example if you have a customer in Italy who is wanting to pay you in their local currency ( € EUR'S ) they can now pay this directly into your EUR collection account. Your collection account is under your name / company name.
You can hold funds for as long as you wish in any of our 38 currencies. You can receive and pay out in the same currency or you can exchange into any other currency you like / need.

What is a Multi Currency Collection Account?

A Multi Currency Account is simply one set of bank details under your company or individual name that can receive any currency from any payee globally. This allows you to receive all currencies within one account without losing fees to exchange costs or foreign transfer costs charged by banks.

This is a great way of saving you and your supplier's time and money away from bank fee's when transferring you the money but also peace of mind knowing you will receive the full amount as you have bypassed the banks middle man fees.

FAQ: Multi Currency Collection Accounts

Q: When I receive my currency into my collection account do I have to keep it in the currency I received?

A: No. Once you receive the currency you have the option to hold the funds on account in that currency or exchange it into any other 38 currencies. You can also send the funds to any payee you wish.

Q: When I send my customers my collection account bank details will it show as my company name?

A: Yes. All of your currency accounts are under your trading name. 123 Ltd for example. So you can add your collection account details on any invoice to your customers showing as your company name.
